    what does everyone do with those bobbins that have just a little bit of thread on them....not enough for a project, but do not want to throw the thread away either....your input is appreciated....gina

    I sometimes use it for basting anything that needs basting first.

    I use them to hand sew the binding on or for basting.

    I use them as the top thread for piecing.
    It makes for quick "using" up. :)

    I use them to piece.. I make scrappy quilts so the piecing thread is never an issue with me.. I use lights with light piecing and dark thread with dark piecing.. No thread wasted here..
