But my walking foot sure is. Once I discovered that I can move my needle position to the left or right in tiny increments, I figured out where exactly on the foot to use as a reference and where exactly to set the needle for the perfect "scant 1/4 inch." Sure makes a difference!

When you are doing something like hst's where you are not sewing along the edge of the fabric, do you remove the foot and put a regular foot on? Or can you sew with the blade running ACROSS the fabric?
I hope you understand what I am trying to ask...LOL.

I have the 1/4" foot with the guide and find my accuracy is so much improved. Just love it and recommed it to everyone.
My Sew and Vac man took it off of a machine he had for sale on the floor. How's that for accomodating?

The clear view foot has markings for starting and stopping 1/4 in when piecing and has 2 blades to attach. One for the quarter inch and the other for stitch in the sitch. Most of our customers rave about it. It is also just a quarter inch all by it's self.
