That 1/4 inch Seam
Glad I found it!
I am still working on the butterfly quilt and putting the last two sets of borders on it. The left side of the quilt measured 60 1/4 inches, the center measured 60 1/4 inches, but whoa Nellie, the right side measured 60 1/2.
What happened? I just couldn't leave it like that. I didn't want any problems with the second border. Discovered one of the sashing seams barely caught the block fabric. A little bit of ripping and re-stitching later and all is well with the first border.
It now measures 60 1/4 inch. A little fudge factor with the seam allowance to make it work. LOL.
I promise more pictures when it is finished.

It may be boring but that perfect seam is the key to success!
I'm amazed though that you fixed a quarter inch difference from side to side. That's impressive! I mean, I'll fix a block but don't think I'd search out the issue over multiple blocks, but you found a weak seam before it found you so way to go!
