    I hear everyone mentioning moving the needle over and I can't figure out how to do it. It's not mentioned in my manual. I have an older Singer and a new Brother. There's only one hole to put it in. I don't see any screw except the one you tighten the needle so that it doesn't fall out. Sure wish someone could help me out with that.

    Sorry, some machines don'thave a variable needle position so that you can move the needle over. Your new Brother might have this feature. Check with your LQS or where you bought the machine if it isn't in your manual.
