    Question 1/4" seam guide

I would like to purchase a 1/4" seam guide for my Singer Featherweight. It, is plastic ( some clear and some with a lace look). aprox. 3/6" and is able to screw into the bed of the machine.

    Anhyone know where to purchase??

I have a long metal one that screws on the bed. I bought it from a vendor at a quilt show. I have trouble with it moving out of alignment. It never stays perfectly straight.

I've never seen a plastic one, but sew-classic has a metal one. Is this similar to what you want? I like mine. For me, it's much more accurate for me than a 1/4" foot.

I like using mole skin, it's cheap and I can cut strips and use it over and over again. It also doesn't move. I use a little ruler with a hole for my needle, for perfect placement. A teacher showed me this and since then I am pretty consistent in width of seams.

I use a 1/4" foot with guide attached to the foot. Works beautifully.

I had bought one made by AlphaSew but it wiggled and didn't help at all.

Last nite was at a pajama [quilting] party with friends and one of the ladies had bought aLittleFoot for FW's. It didn't wiggle at all. No flange though.

I bought mine from this web site, it is very good to use, even on the bigger Singers. Hope the link works!
