I made one for my DH for our 50th anniversary!! Hand quilted, but, it took longer than 30 days. That was over nine years ago and he is still using it.
Good luck, and may you celebrate your fiftieth in joy and companionship.
    :)

You guys are working like a charm! Last night I was just going to clip the dog ears off all my flying geese and I thought I gotta do more the girls are counting on me LOL.
So I did the next step for all 50 I stayed up till 3 am doing it after I cooked lol.

I have 99 big blocks to do 50 of the star blocks and 49 to do of the other blocks.
Then I have couple hundred 4 patch blocks for a boarder.
    but those are easy.

    Thanks again everyone!

A little back ground on the quilt it is a 89x96 the biggest one I have tackled to date. It is for my husbands and my anniversary.
I made a big stink about how this is our 10 year and we should exchange gifts since we never do for other anniversary. Well since I do not work and get all my money from him I felt a little weird saying hey can I get some money for your present. So I thought I will make him a quilt. I have not made him one yet and he would LOVE it!
June slipped by and I didnt get much done. Summer is in full swing and I am starting to wonder if I am going to get it done in time. I know I can piece it but quilting it will be a challenge for me as it is so big.

I have 30 days! Looking for moral support buecuase I think I am going to need it. Oy Vey Help

Tie it with dark colored crochet thread! It will last as long,
and be a lot quicker and easier.

You can do this. Chain piecing and assembly line works much faster. You got it! Love the colors by the way.

He is a special man and think of all the loving effort you are putting into this special quilt.

You are doing great! keep it up!
