I am DONE piecing!!!!! I got the fabric this morning by my fabric rescuer. I pieced the block I was missing. I wasnt able to get both blocks as I ran out of the tan (ugh I know I cut enough I remember checking and re checking) but I made a label block with the fabric she sent so it worked. I am going to go down to my church and bast it tomorrow I will post pics when I get done.

Now i have to figure out how to quilt it. I am down to about 1 week

I'd do stitch in the ditch for everything but the white border. For that I'd choose a design that means something to your husband.

You'll get it done with time for a nap before wrapping it

Well I have sort of run into a snag but a good one. I had a friend ask if we could keep her teenager for the week. So I have a visitor. The only problem is my craft room had to be converted into a guest room lol.
Its okay. I told my husband about the quilt and he agreed the kid is more important (I didnt think he would say other wise)
I could finish the quilt on the electric machine but I really wanted to do it on the treadle start to finish. So I think I am going to be a week late :( but ohh well sometimes life gets in the way

I just wanted to thank everyone for all the encouragement you guys really gave me the gusto to get this quilt done. Even though I am finished yet it is so close I can taste it and I know that I will be able to get it done in a week or two

Here is my room now that we have a guest

I had to make room for a bed

So my sewing room got pushed into a corner
