Then I showed my mom how to make it, and she did a pink & green one with sashing. She didn't turn over her edges to make the curved "CW" look.

I don't have pictures of my second 10-minute quilt, it's not finished yet. I used batik charms, which made it a little more challenging because they're almost too small.
Here's a tip - one thing I realized I had to do was to stitch down the outer edge of the curves so they wouldn't catch on my quilting foot as I was quilting.
