    What size squares should I start with to get a 12.5 inch ten minute block?

    i did a small qlt with charms (5 inch) sqs. but it's a bit difficult to open the inserted square easily to sew that 3rd seam. larger sqs are easier but it can be done.

    for a 12.5 inch blk you would start with 6.5 squares. it's just a four patch with an inserted square. easy to figure that way.
