If you have an embroidery machine this would be a wonderful time to make a quilt with 6 inch blocks embroidered in matching motifs. Maybe yellow blocks embroidered in lavender flowers and use the lavender napkins as sashings, then add borders to the quilt. Poly embroiders wonderfully well.

Yellow and lavender? Perfect for placemats for spring. Combine them with a pretty floral or an Easter print, and of course you could save some to use as coordinating napkins!

With only two colours, the work of a D9P wouldn't show ... unless of course you're adding other fabrics.

You know what would be fun? Have the guest draw pictures and sign some of them- then make them into a quilt. Give it to the happy couple for their first anniversary.
