You hit Gold, I love scraps, sorting them out. Take some photos.

Check out "Quilts for Kids" -- great easy patterns for charity quilts and also -- they will be grateful if you would like to make some for them!

There was a post here yesterday named:
    "Finished "Crumb" Blocks Quilt"
and it used scraps. It was beautiful. That would be a great way to use your scraps. It is quick/easy and would go together in no time.

When you finish with 15 pounds of scraps and give the quilts away, you will make many people happy, that's for sure.

Thanks for the idea, you are right, it is beautiful. It will be interesting to see how many quilts I will get out of these scraps-I am using them with some of my stash. I'll keep count and post pics!

Sewn into squares, you could make some awesome prairie points with them too!!! What an fabulous gift you have been given!

Here is a tutorial on prairie points, just in case:

I love this idea from a blog I ran across for a quilt called Bottled Rainbows:

    http://www.stitchedincolor.com/2011/...w-to-make.html

I would love to make one of these quilts but I don't have near enough scraps. Now I'm collecting them though, it will go on to-do list. It's QAYG which I also want to try.

    Have fun!
