Found this in an 1880 Peterson's - December. Does this pattern look familiar?
If you guys want, I can post more. I'm looking through these old issues & can post them as I find them.

It's a Log Cabin made with folded strips. What a lovely wall hanging it would make. 1880? Wow! What a find.

Silk was commonly used for the 'better' dresses back then for the middle and upper class.
