Default 2" blocks - need pattern ideas

I have many 2" blocks from cleaning up scraps.
Any design ideas for quilts would be welcome.

I would just google "scrappy quilts" free pattern and see what comes up.

I made an irish chain with my 2" blocks. I used black for the background and I think it worked really well with the scrappy pieces.

    Good luck!

Throw them all in a large box or bag, mix them up really good and start using them as beginner and enders. I've made three scrap quilts this way and love them all. You never know what you come up with. Or cut a large number light colored 2" squares and then sew a scrap and light color square together. Amazing what happens with this method. I like playing with my scraps.

Check out Izy's Jacob's Ladder on this site. She uses lots of 2" squares. It's a pretty long thread, but she describes how she did it on my pg. 48. It's Post #477. I love this quilt!

I really like this one posted earlier, and you could use whatever size squares you wanted.

Take a look a thte Quiltville site and I'm sure you should be able to get some ideas.

Choose any pattern that needs squares ..... it doesn't matter the size.
