I have done several t-shirt quilts and threatened the recipient not to take it to the beach for a blanket. There is a lot of work in them and regardless, each quilt is unique....I have found that I can fix some mistakes by using smaller t shirt prints such as on the sleeve, by using an iron on backing and either slip stitch by hand or use machine stitch if you have not put your backing on yet.

The black dots in the second one makes it very unique! I love it! We are always our worst critic. You made 2 wonderful quilts for gifts. (I should have made a quilt for my nephew - graduation is this week. I am bad.) Pat yourself on the back on a job well done and in time to give away!

From where I sit, you're mountain-climbing over molehills! I've done several T-shirt quilts, and I like these ... particularly the boy's quilt with black on two sides of each block ... better than most that I have done in even rows with sashing.

That's the beautyof quilting ... you get to make up your own rules about design. Don't change a thing on them.
