Even after you told me - I like it!!

If you are going to do anything add rick rack, chenelle, or lace.

I could not figure out what you had done wrong.

PS - Neither could my 12 year old daughter.

I think you did a great job!! If I hadn't of read what the problem was I wouldn't have thought that. They are both lovely and you stitched them with love so nothing could be better!

I think you did a great job!

You could quilt the "shadow" area with black thread to emphasize that "shadow" effect.

Whatever you decide.. you've done a wonderful job!

My fix for your quilt. If it is a school quilt, I would embroider strips that could be appliqued on the blank spaces, i.e., School Name, or cheer, like "go Tigers" or a club name she's in, or school patches, or a patch of her hobby or interests: music, band, cheerleading, swimming, etc. good luck.

i don't know what i was thinking..trying to get it done before hubby got home from his motorcycle trip to texas..probably.

i will leave it alone. maybe they won't notice. lol

there is no way i could take it apart..on the final setting of the sashing, i locked the stitches on the ends..to hard to take out.

thanks everyone for the praise and suggestions..

tomorrow, i will pin/baste it, the binding for both is ready..and i am tired of looking at t-shirts and yellow and blue..(thier school colors!)
I think it looks great! You PLANNED it that way so they weren't identical, DIDN'T YOU??!!! (LOL!) That'd be my story and I'd stick to it!!!!

Looks great to me - and how's anybody going to know it isn't "perfect" if you don't tell them. If they even give it a thought, which I bet they won't, they'll figure that's the design of the quilt. T-shirt quilts are tricky, I think you did a great job on both!
