Well my quilt list just got longer! My niece is graduating this year, I swore it was next year. Tee shirt/memory quilt for her. One of my older stepdaughters is getting married and asked me to make tablecloths for her circular tables, you can anticipate a HELP I HATE MATH thread on those. I told her I'd use them in her quilt and hope to have her quilt finished by her first anniversary. YIKES!

    In 2011, I'd like to:

    1. Make quillows for my 5 grandkids

    2. Do a t-shirt quilt for my niece's grad. gift

    3. Finish UFO's (not sure how many I have!)

    4. Do my yearly jaunt to Montana to my 3 sisters
and my favorite quilt shop there

    5. Learn how to (finally!) post pics on this site so
    Ican share what I've done!

    2. making log cabin blocks
    3. making Grandmother Flower Garden blocks
    4. our quilting guild is having a Block of the Month
    5. potholders for my kitchen
    6. placemats for my kitchen
    7. making different blocks to make a Sampler Quilt
    8. table runners

Who is Next? This way we can motivate each other. Have fun!
I started Jan 2nd. Since I handquilt I have to start early so I have enough to sell in November and December. So far I have made:

    1. a lt sage green and yellow baby quilt. I made it a 6" 9-pc block and this time I put small lace between the blocks but instead of laying flat it 's the kind of lace that is soft and ruffled. I edged it with the lace too.

2.a baby quilt with 16 blocks of different colors of boats.

    3. a baby quilt with 16 blocks of different shades of pink teddy bears

    4. a log cabin with 6 shades of blues and creams. I haven't finshed it yet. I just got the quilt top finished this morning.
