So....what is everyone working on this month??

I am going to make some swap blocks into a lap quilt. I have the sashing on and rows sewn together. Tomorrow I will start quilting the rows by QAYG. Here is a picture I took before finishing the extra blocks (they are done and sashed now). The block on the top will be repeated across the top and bottom with blue sashing...then I will border with blue, green and blue. I am going to try a "flanged" binding with the cream used in the sashing as the flange.

When I am done with this I have 3 or 4 table runners to make and then I'll be pp'ing planes for an airplane quilt....not sure I will get all of the airplane quilt done in April, but it is coming up on the list.

kaelyn--the 2nd one looks intricate! Can't wait to see them both finished.

I forgot to say that the green sashing on the bottom corner is for a "label block" that will list each of the participants and where they're from.

I'm participating in my first swap this month! Should be fun, can't wait to see what blocks come in the mail.

The best part about the second one is it is 100% stash shopped!

Going to get customer quilts done, a scrap star quilt top done and ready for quilting, binding on a few that need it, then if I get enough time, will get the triangle runner done, the 30s BOM quilt top done. Then if I am even more energetic, will quilt the 8 that are waiting on me. Wow, now I am tired. LOL
