Default 2x4 inch patches, Looking for ideas.

The past month or so I have been getting out the multiple bags of scraps , sorting and ironing them etc. I ran across HUNDREDS of 2x4 inch patches I must have gotten in a scrap box I bought .I have them all pressed and ready to use . I am looking for suggestions how to use them since they are all perfectly cut. I thought about a coin or nine patch , But am open for lots of ideas . They are so small and I am already working on a postage stamp quilt so I want something different .

hmmmm, i'm thinking sort of a falling charm design. add background squares or rectangles to them and place going downward in rows. sort of like they are tossed out and falling randomly.

I think I might sew 2 together, cut in half, resew and trim down for 4 patches?

Maybe use them as starters and enders sewing them end to end. Then use the strips to make something like the jelly roll race quilt.

I would make strips of the rectangles but start every other strip with a half rectangle. Like this:

The one Lyndaoh has is a great idea and they would all be different in the rows.
