    This blog has excellent information about sewing area set up.

    The way the picture shows is exactly how I sit and sew and after making myself sit this way until it became natural, I have no back, shoulder, or neck pains from sewing at all. It works.

    Thank you so much, I have trouble with the height also, neck kills me and I know its because of my sewiwng area. So hopefully this will help. Thank you.

    Thanks for the link. I had seem this before and was amazed when I invested in a sewing table and an adjustable chair. So much more comfortable. Was worth the investment.
