I was just at a quilt store while traveling and looking at their 30s repro fabric and wondering what to do with it. One of the ladies suggested Yellow Brick Road. It was a match made in heaven! Bought the pattern and FQ to go with it. Good luck!<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/7de6c67b/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

i think the big bow tie made up in 30's is pretty - blocks, and top, not yet quilted.

I vote for the double Irish Chain. Love it in 30s fabrics.

Just did one with the Arkansas cross roads pattern and put it together with the four 4 patches together. Makes a big block with the white cross between. Beautiful made with the 30's fabric all different colors. I'll try to post a picture when my Ipad charges. And it's a very easy block.

Bow Tie block comes to mind. Also I am making one with Friendship Stars and mini nine-patches placed as corner stones. It is turning out really cute.

I did 30's scotty dogs, repro fabrics on a white background. Still one of my favorites of everything I've done. For sashing I used the same fabrics in 2" or 3" squares, all different colors/patterns. I really love that quilt.

    Default 1930's pattern

I have tow very wonderful pattern names for you. "Vintage Moments by Marsha McCloskey and "Aunt Grace;s Garden" which I was able to download for free and www.FonsandPorter.com. It is also called Emily's Wedding Quilt at FonsandPorter.
I have the Vintage Moments one finished and am just waiting to save enough $ to get it quilted. Maybe this Summer.

Don't want to do DWR or Dresdens. Already did those patterns. Love them but want something different. Think I have enough fabric for a queen size quilt.

Now you have done it, Jan. I am going to have to buy this pattern soon. I got 40 1 yd pieces of 30s fabric at the Fat quarter shop a few weeks ago on the flash sale. Now I have something to use it with. Ode to the 30's BEAUTIFUL!
