    Years ago I was in a 4" club sponsored by a Quilt Shop.
    I cut 2 opposite sides on a slant to make a tumbler. I hand pieced a twin quilt, but you could just as easily make one by machine

    You could add a solid for 2 of the positions of the 4-patch and unify the look.

    Just looked at a web "Flics-Flacs" ([url]http://www.monikapatchwork.estranky.cz/fotoalbum/3---obrazkove-navody/flic-flac/[url]) and born of a pattern of squares together . The image is formed by cutting. It is a very nice pattern!
