    On you-tube in the Missouri Quilt Videos there is a table runner that you use charm packs to make..I just made one and its cute..Good luck

    If you use half-square triangles your options are limitless as to how you put them together. Have fun.

    I would just start laying them out - and see what happens - if you have a digital camera, take photos of layouts you like

    Lynn Roddy Brown has several books out on scrappy quilts. All her patterns would be workable with 4" squares. You can find her books on Amazon.com

    I just finished cutting out a bunch of 4" squares to make half-square triangles for pinwheel blocks. The pinwheels will be alternated with plain blocks of a novelty print to make a baby quilt for my niece who is due in August.

    That said, I love the idea of the Irish chain.

    I made a disappearing 9 patch out of these same colors, with the addition of white added, it was a fabulous looking quilt, wish I had been able to keep it. I plan on making one for myself someday. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it!

    Anything with squares is great. Go to u-tube and look for ideas.
