Default 5/47 of Illusion Bargello done

Well, this quilt is going to take awhile, but I have 5/47 (5 rows of 47) done for the center of my Illusion Bargello.

Here is the pattern. I posted yesterday because I was having trouble following the Color Chart. I still am, but I am using my newest motto...."Stay Calm and Quilt On." (I can't tell some of the yellows and greens apart on the chart...blues too, now that I think of it. Just a computer thing, I think, or maybe old eyes. )

I think it is going to look okay. I invite any of you who have a design wall in your head that works(I don't) to look at what I have done so far, look at the pattern, and then tell me that it is going to look okay. This is sort of a leap of faith at the moment.

And, to be totally honest, the 5th row isn't sewn together. If you look closely, you can see 12 pins holding up tiny pieces that need to be sewn between the small strip sets that make up this pattern.

Okay, here it is. Thanks for any input.

Thanks. I will be glad when more of the pattern starts showing up. I really want it to look okay and I just can't tell yet. Maybe in a couple more days....

i think it is going to be beautiful. if you are off with some pieces you can just correct it. I believe I had to unsew some on every complex quilt I have made.

It will be fantastic! No kidding! When I did my bargellos (I've done two), I started at one edge and worked from there...I love it when the design starts to show.

Thanks. This is my 7th Bargello, but it is the only one that has really taken any patience. (patience is not one of my strong points)
