50.00 featherweight was still there

Thanks so much for everyone's good wishes and info.I did oil every place shown in manual, and put motor lube stuff in where indicated. I think I need a new belt, it is cracked, and flaking when I run machine. Also can't get the lightbulb to lock in.But other than that she seems to run great, so quiet.I will be checking the Vintage Machine section, I think I saw someone here sells parts. So many helpful quilters on this Forum!

I'm as excited (all most) as if I'd gotten it! I'm so happy for you. A sewing room just isn't totally complete without a Featherweight. I have a black one and thought my room was complete but now it looks like I'm going to have to search for at least one other color.

Oh, I am sew happy for you! I was waiting with baited breath until I could get on this evening to get the news!
The whole shebang with books, bobbins, feet and all! What a great find! Congratulations! Did you play the lottery today?
