    Spray basting is my only way to go. I like 505 the best, because it doesn't smell much. I've had quilts sitting in the, "ready to quilt," pile for at least 2-3 years and they still were firmly basted when I took them out.

    I was just looking thru my batting pieces for something to use for a small wall quilt. I found pieces of batting that were still stuck together with 505 and I haven't quilted a quilt for almost a year! It holds.
