I found this site 7 days ago...and what a week....
I came looking for inspiration and have been amazed.
In a week I have decided on the quilt I want to make, found an amazing person, Colleen who has agreed to make it with me even though we are thousands of miles apart and have never met.
Agreed to start a pinwheel project.
Been told about fantastic online stores that I never knew about
Chatted to some really lovely people in the chat room
....all this inspired me to completly sort out my sewing room and organise my stash revealing loads of wonderful fabrics I had completly forgotten about.....
    What a week.... Thank you

It is bad when you spend more time here than sewing but what fun!

Glad you are here too, but remember being on this board is addictive. You could lose a lot of quilting time!

Welcome from Seattle, Wa. Yes, it's true. You'll find tons and tons of information, websites (my Delicious button is constantly in use!), and great people. It's awesome!

We're glad that you are here but you better stay out of the Vintage Sewing Machine Shop section    . There is a very contagious illness running rampant, among the people who frequent it, and it causes them to buy vintage machines until they run out of room to get any more....hahahaha!!
