I'm 75. love my quilting and my computer. I travel alone, went from Uk to South Africa and then South America last year. I do all my banking, pay bills, book hotels, flights etc on my computer. But of course spend too much time on the computer, when I should be doing household tasks, but I am no domestic goddess, so who cares.

I think that maybe age brings along with it an increased sense of humor and I find I don't insult very easily at all, thank goodness.

I am so amazed and inspired by everyone on here. I am thankful everyday for my quilting "family" here.

I am 75 and will be 76 on Halloween. I have been sewing since I was 12 yrs old and quilting since 2004. I have been using the computer for over 20 years at work and at home. I retired 11 years ago and used the computer only once in awhile. My children gave me my laptop last Christmas and I use it everyday, especially since I found this quilting board. I love checking in everyday to see what is going on. I do all my cooking and cleaning myself, not that it is easy to do anymore, the cleaning that is. It may not be the way I used to do it, but it will just have to suffice. I also work at my daughter's office when she needs me, usually, two days a week. I have always liked to keep busy and believe it is what keeps you young. They say that if you don't use it, you lose it.

I am looking at my birthday on the 19th of this month. I will be 81 and have been online for almost 14 years. I have only quilted for about 12 years but have sewn for a long time. Its a good thing I am alone now as I have about given up cooking and cleaning as its more fun to be on the computer or quilting.
