I will be 78 next month. I love my computer, and spend even more time on it since I found this board. I also quilt. Been married over fifty-nine years, and can't die soon. Too many fabrics to make into quilts. Too many designs to try out. And I have the love of my life with me too. :)

Hi quilting friends. Just celebrated my 78th birthday.........Quilting at home and using the computer every day. So thankful for my health and the "want to" for these fun hobbies. Quilt with two groups each week............

Hi ladies. My mom is 79 and loves to quilt but doesn't use the computer much. She bought the Quilt Pro program awhile ago and uses it a little bit. I see that Quilt Pro has the version 6 upgrade on sale. Anyone use that? If so what do you think about it. Trying to get my Christmas shopping done early this year!!!

I am 81, and adore looking at the photos of quilts! The more the merrier!
By the way, I advise you to look into wireless servers.
They work like a cellphone, only it is an antenna that plugs into a usb port - and the signal floats into the computer through the air, works without wires, even if all the power is off and you are operating on the computer battery!
You pay for some of them by an automatic deduction
    out of a bank account.
....and they are usually less expensive!
