I am 76 and started quilting when I was in my 60s being self taught or what I could learn from books. I worked for a computer business under contract for the Gov., way back when they had the card system. When they went to the new system of keying into magnetic tape or data entry, I had to learn the keyboard all over again because it was now like numbers on an adding machine. On the punch card system, the numbers were reversed. Here we have this new board where I am learning again. Life is an on going learning experience.

I'm 75 and love, love my computer - use it at work (yes I still go to work 5 days a week) and at home. Love texting too.

Congrats! Sometimes we fight change but it's better to take it and run. You must see all of the changes that have happened in the last 20 yrs of quilting.

Congratulations on your 58th anniversary! You know that if the 60's are the new 40's, that must mean the 70's are the new 60's?
