I just found some 9 patch blocks (from a swap a long time ago). They are 5 inches will finish at 4.5 inches. I have about 40. There are 5 assorted reds, 5 assorted yellows etc. How do I use them, any pattern suggestions. Guess I'll need to make more. They are so small.

Rather than make more in the same size, why not make these into a center medallion, put sashing around it and then surround the sashing with other blocks in a larger size - finishing with borders around it all????
