    is there a list of the abbreviations and what they stand for? Trying to read posts can be a little challenging lol
    DD, DH, FMG etc.. etc..

    Yes, use the search function at top of page, type in abbreviations and you will find the posts.

    SIL.. son in law
    FMQ.. free motion quilting or FMMQ.. free motion machine quilting
    LOL.. lot of luck or love.

    SEX = Stash Enhancing eXperience (or eXcursion)
    STASH = Special Treasures All Secretly Hidden
    TGIF = Thank God It’s Finished!
    TOT = Tone-on-Tone
    UFO = UnFinshed Object
    WHIMM = Works Hidden In My Mind
    WIP = Work In Progress
    WISP = Work In Slow Progress
    WIVSP = Work In Very Slow Progress
    WIWMI = Wish It Would Make Itself
    WOF = Width of Fabric
    WOMBAT = Waste of Money, Batting, and Time
    WOW = White On White

    I've been reading SIL as sister in law, and lol as laugh out loud. Learning new things all the time.

    LOL is laugh out loud. That's extremely old computer speak. SIL can be either sister or son in law. That one you usually have to go by context.
