Default ? About 24" Creative Grids Ruler

I'm wondering if I got a bad ruler. I bought a Creative Grids 24" some time ago. When cutting strips they weren't the straightest. I set the ruler up on the long side on a flat surface and each end lays flat but the middle isn't touching the surface at all and while holding the ruler in the center you can move it back and forth. I tried a bunch of different flat surfaces in my home and it's the same on every one. My Sis also bought one but at a different time and hers does it too. Do you think we got bad rulers? Bought at the same QS but at different times.

    TIA

I would definitely say a bad ruler. If you have the receipts, take them back. If you don't have the receipts, take them back and ask for an exchange.

I would contact the company. Doesn't sound right...

Aye, I agree with the others. I'd say take it to the store first (receipt or no) and see what they can do for you. They might want to check the rulers they still have in stock, too.

Then if they can't/won't help, try the company next. Seems like if they were a bad batch, the company probably has already had other complaints and will be aware and hopefully helpful.

That's all I use. I have a bunch of different sizes and shapes and have never had a problem.

That's funny...I bought a new creative grids ruler to replace my Omnigrid one for that very reason. I just figured I had shaved off some of the Omnigrid one with use, over time. I think I checked my new one, and it was better....I should do that again...
