    I pillowcased mine and made the mistake of not doing any basting or pinning before machine quilting the border. So I had to pick out about 2 feet and ease it in. After I washed it it looked ok, but next time I will definitely do a little pinning and start from the center and work out. It did still seem faster than doing a binding.

    If you do decide to use binding, sew it on the back, bring it around to the front and sew with a blanket stitch with invisible thread or use a decorative stitch.
