I haven't had an issue with cutting......mine makes a high pitched squeaking noise and I can't figure out why. Its quiet at first and then after I've run thru a few dies it starts to make the noise. Anybody else have this problem?

I have a GO! and for the life of me I can't see how a die could be bent out of shape by improper storage? They're in a sturdy frame.

The company says to store the dies upright. If they are piled one on top of the other, apparently the weight can play havoc with the die blades.

I have a ton of dies, love them all but the squares are always slightly off. Once I do sew them no one knows since I can make them pretty much match. Still worth the money and time. I must say though sometimes I use the rotary cutter when doing squares...sometimes

I am going to try this trick with the paper that she shows when cutting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRf2jXeghBc

I, too, have problems with my dies. And I lost so much money on inaccurate cuts. My strips come out wonky, and squares come out short by 1/8". I took a private class on everything to do with cutting, and that didn't work. I just wonder if there is something wrong with the machine itself - maybe pressure is not consistent which causes fabric to move? I did receive a bad die - 2 1/2 strip die was warped - it didn't lay flat. So look at the way the dies you have problems with lay on a surface you know is perfectly flat. If they come up on one end, that is your problem. Hope we can all master our cutting. When I go to cut, I am so, so very careful how I place my fabric. I have each die marked with a sharpie. It just makes me sick because I have terrible wrists, and need to use the Go every time I cut pieces and strips. I'm so glad you started this post.
