I am looking into purchasing a new machine and have been looking at the Janome Memorycraft 8200. I have no experience with the accufeed system and was wondering if anyone could give me their opinion on it.....does it replace the standard walking foot? Is it better? Any opinions gratefully received!

I have the 8200 and the accufeed is wonderful. Yes. it replaces the standard walking foot. Be sure to get the narrow accufeed foot also. It is a perfect 1/4 inch. Have fun with your new 8200. I love mine
