I am seriously considering getting one of these. The arthritis in my hands ache when I cut much. I like the small size of the Baby but don't want to regret getting it. Does a large enough variety of dies make getting the Baby worthwhile? Or should I just get the Go? I like 5 inch charms and tumblers. And I would love to make a bow-tie quilt and apple core quilt. Do these dies fit the Baby cutter?

Here is a link to the chart that tells you which dies fit the Baby:

I would get the Go rather than the Baby. I have the Go and like it. Would get the Studio if I had the money and the space for it.

If you can afford it get the studio... IF not get the GO.. you can use more dies with the GO..

I have the GO and I love it.. Just buy lots of mats, you will go them very quickly..

Are the mats very expensive to replace? And which one is the studio? I thought there was only the Go and the Baby.

    I bought the Go!

The Baby only does the 3 inch tumbler.

Kelly at ihaveanotion sells them for $229 and includes the value die. She has great customer service and often puts the dies on sale.
(I am not affiliated with Kelly, just a very satisfied customer.)

neither...too many issues with the cranking...

you can read more about these issues by joining the yahoogroup called accuquilters...that crank is NOT easy...

check out the Sizzix big shot and big shot pro...search this group for discussions on them...much easier to crank, less issues, and less money!

if someone told you that the baby only does that one die, they misinformed you....
you can find the chart at the accuquilt site that shows you exactly ALl the dies you can use in the baby..including most of the dies for the GO!

I bought the Big Shot, and it is NOT easy to use with Accuquilt dies. You have to add a shim, and adjust.

I haven't had any problem with my crank. Accuquilt/vendor will replace the machine if you have that problem.

I didn't mean to imply that the Baby only does ONE die, it only does the small tumbler (from her list of requested dies), not the large tumbler.
