check the blades on your die. I got a defective die where one of the blades protruded too far, and therefore cut deeper into the mat.

I wondered about the die being defective. Will try to check on that

[QUOTE=topstitch;8007390]I have used my new accuquilt Go to cut out 2 queen size strip quilts and my 10x 24 mat is already cut totally through in 2 places. I moved it around and turned it very frequently just as instructed but with this mat you can only relocate a small amount. My question is my 6 X 6 mat is much sturdier than the 10 x 24. Are there 2 different qualities availilable[/QUOTE

I have had one message deleted so let try again. Quilt in a Day is sending me a new mat no questions asked. I am so glad I purchased my Accuquilt from them. They are extremely customer oriented

Hi there, my mat for the same die cracked also in two places I still have it; but I did purchase another one. More than likely they are using cheaper material then previous. Yes the mats for my other dies are very thick and on show wear not cracks. When Accuquilt had the sale I purchased new mats.

I haven’t had a mat go bad but my 2.5” squares went bad really fast. I bought it on eBay so I didn’t try to return it.
