I have one and really like it. There is a Yahoo group of users, some of whom have arthritis and other health problems. Here is a link to it:

Be sure to shop around before purchasing. I have seen the Go! sold for up to 50% off retail price. Some places to check are eBay, http://www.ShoppersRule.com (offer 50% and see what price they come back with), http://www.sewforless.com , and here is a link for it on Amazon:

I love the Go!.. Ive got almost all the dies...

It does have limitations (In my opinion),
it does waste more fabric than rotary cutting, but the Go! is more accurate than I am so its well worth it for me.. I use the 2in sq & Hexagon dies for leftover smaller scrap pieces.. and yes depending on what your cutting you can only have so many layers so don't expect to cut 12 layers at a time on the Go! my average is 3-5 layers at a time..

Does it die the fabric or just cut the shapes? I am so confused, lol! :)

Hi! I have the Studio and love it! I also charge others to custom cut fabric for them.

To answer your question, it cuts fabric. The piece with the blades in it (most are square or rectangle) are called "dies".

It just cuts the fabric. The dies are the shapes it cuts.

I'm really interested in these and would get one in a heartbeat if I had all the right circumstances.

I finally used mine and my shoulder still hurts. I need to maybe figure out a different place-maybe it's too high or too low or something.

Mine was quite stiff to crank at first; it has loosened up with use. Try reducing the number of layers. I had to start with 2 layers, but now I can cut 4 layers easily. Also, which die you use can make a big difference in the number of layers you can easily crank through. The rag die, for example, has so many inches of die cutting surface it's impossible to do more than 1 or 2 layers at a time.

I have one, also have arthritis. It is harder to crank the turn handle with more layers of fabric to be cut. I tend to keep it down to 3 layers only for that reason.
I do like it. I also have the Alto's Quilt Cut 2.
