    Default Acronyms link

I guess I’m a slow learner but I can never remember how to find the link to the acronyms. Thanks for your help

I think this is the big link:
Quilter's Dictionary & Acronyms ... a consolidation of previous posts

I was really active in the on-line quilting community around Y2K but then I got married and spent a lot more time in real life and gaming and things, and when I found this site there were a lot of terms I didn't know so I had to ask as well.

Some of that is because of the spread of new techniques and different naming terms, so 20 years ago we didn't talk too much about edge to edge (which I would now call e2e).

Flimsy is commonly used here to mean what I would call a "completed top that isn't a quilt yet". Flimsy is definitely shorter.

GrammaSharon ... not to worry! Hopefully the list helps you sort through the alphabet soup.
Some of the acronyms and terms become somewhat natural within time.
However, some, just never seem to stick in my mind!!!

Thanks for sharing the link, IceBlossom!
I've added your E2E to my master list.
Since that first posting, I've kept track of additions along the way.
OMG, I just noticed that was over 8 years ago! *gasp*

hhmmmmmm ..... Maybe it's about time I post an updated list?

Before I do so ...... Everyone, please share others that should be added to the list.
    Please? and Thanks!

I'd like to see TFS = Thanks for sharing added to the list. Seems like I use that a lot but I generally spell it out because I'm not sure if everyone knows what TFS stands for.

TFS SewMe ... I have added it to the list!
(now I need to get working on it ... the new one will be considerably longer!)
