    I would border in cream (as if it were matted) and bind in black (as if it were a frame)

    That is so cute! No border needed. I say just bind it and enjoy the compliments!

    Very cute! Lots of work it looks like. Do what you want. If it were me I would put a thin binding on it and a hanging sleeve. HOw about a dark solid to make the frame and a narrow one.

    I would just face the edges and turn it to the back. I like it just the way it is. or you could do the pillow turn thing as a finish. Another idea is to go to Quilting Arts and check how they finish some of their quilts I have seen them put them on frames and finish the edges with felt. Then when they hang on the wall they look very finished. "Art quality"
