Addicted to fabric

Oh, no. We only buy for one project at a time. No use having extra. ha ha Yes, you are totally normal. I was in a small quilt shop in NM last week and decided I had more fabric in my sewing room than they had in the store - now that's bad! Don't feel badf though - it's like some of the ladies say - how many guns do you need to kill one deer? Or how many nails/tools do you need to build something? These are our collections and every single piece is necessary!!!

I guess I am not addicted to fabric, but I am addicted to the colors and textures. When I buy new fabric I just lay it out and pet it and look at all of the colors and hues that change in the natural light of home. I just got some pieces in the mail yesterday and I spred them all out on my bed so I could see them all resting next to each other. I arranged and rearranged them and just basked in the richness of the colors.
Small pleasures that will someday make a quilt, ahhhh.

I am in the same predicament, fabric just calls my name, if I see pretty fabric I just have to buy it, then when I make a project I have to go buy matching fabric to go with it. I think that makes us quilters. LOL.
