Default Additional machine quilting after binding??

Is it possible to add additional machine quilting after the top is SITD'd and bound? I have a winter large quilt top done and most of the SITD is done....we are having a houseful for thanksgiving, and I want to hang it in the great room...but I won't have time to do all of the FMQ accents....can I add FMQ after the holidays? 😉

I would think of no reason not to be able to add more stitching to the quilt after the holidays. Is there a problem with mounting the quilt if you are a LAQ???

Yes you can but not when you are having it long arm quilted obviously it can't be separated.

You can put it back on a long arm after it's been SITD. There's no need to load the quilt components onto the different rollers, just load it as a single layer. Long arm quilters often SITD the whole quilt, then roll it back & do the detail.

Why not? My grandmother used to say there are no rules in sewing and quilting.
