It's brighter under the foot plate too. I just can't get a decent picture of it on my camera phone. It's so much better with the LED lights than without.

I have them for my machines. I love them. I did find however the adhesive doesn't stick all the time and my strip fell off. Got dble sided tape and it's holding up really well.

I know me and I would always wished I had the white every time I saw the black cords. I did paint a lamp cord to match the wall but it looked like a painted cord up close.

Thank you for posting this info. I have the Ecolux on one machine. I just ordered the Inspired LED for my others!

Thanks for the before and after pics. I can sure see the difference.

Cottonclub.com has one for sale and they look great. Battery operated but virtually never needs replacement. I worry about losing throat space but I might try it and see.

Not at all! There is a sticky clip at the back of the machine to hold the cord out of the way. You can't even see the cords from the front.

I saw some recently at a quilt show. They were wonderful, but too expensive. Nice to know that Lowe's has them. They give off so much light and not much heat.

I need these! I wonder if Home Depot has them. I'll be there today so I'll have to look. If not I'm buying a set. Just last night I was adjusting my table lamp to get more light and it was like a sauna next to my machine.

eta: just checked online at HD does not have these, at least not for this price. Off to order!

Adding that if you have amazon prime, they have it there from inspired led and you get free 2 day shipping.
