Default Adjusting Serpentine Stitch on Babylock Symphony/SID foot

    Morning everyone,

Last night I was reading (I think on this board!) about using the serpentine stitch for quilting and that it isn't adjustable on a Babylock Espire.
I have the Symphony and stitch Q-18 is a serpentine stitch and you can adjust it's size. I am going to try it out this week end, never used it for SID. Not sure about on my Elegante2, she's embroidering right now so can't check.
I also have the SID foot and I use mine whenever I stitch in the ditch.....works like a charm.
I am in possession of many quilting motiffs for embroidering on my quilt, just need to do it!

    Happy stitchin!

    Bev

I love using the serpentine stitch to do stitch over the ditch. I have a hard time keeping my SITD in the ditch so this works well for.

I think the serpintine stitch is one of the most versitile stitchs. I do use it all the time for quilting.
