Default Adoption saying for on a quilt

I would like to help my daughter do a quilt that people would sign for an adoption celebration of a teenage girl her Best Friend.

I'm thinking of a white or cream background with stitching hearts that people can write a special message inside of with permanent markers. But I do not know a saying for the quilt. This would be my third try at Free motion quilting.
Please help me out and provide what you think would be a nice saying for the quilt. Thinking of making it as a wall hanging or lap quilt.

My thought: Adopted by choice. or This was God's plan for you. Your special!
But they do not seem right.
Please provide any special saying you can think of. I'm thinking of painting them on the quilt or using fusable web letters that my daughter cuts out and stitching them down. Maybe after graduation this year I could work on embrodering them but my machine only does smaller words.

Today I asked her mom to be about being able to have the celebration and she could not believe that we would do this. But she thought it was a great idea. Nothing fancy- just cake and punch with a guessing game.
    Thanks in advance.

Having an adopted daughter myself, I can say that you need to be a bit careful with phrases. I do not care for any of the ones you listed, but here is one I do like:

Having a place to go is home,
Having someone to love is family,
    Having both is a blessing.

The above is rather long, so I would find someone with embroidery experience (and an embroidery machine!) to do the phrase. I believe there are several on the QB who would be willing to do this for a nominal cost.

It's lovely that you are doing this for the girl.

Edit: I would take out the punctuation in the above and center each line. Here is a link to the website that provided the example:

If it was me I would put something very simple and say 'for our daughter'

I think it's so nice you're doing this! I have to chime in and say being adopted myself, I agree with Prism99 - please be careful and sensitive with your wording and phrases. I would just say "for [girl's name]"...sweet and simple.

There's a little more at the front of this. You can probably Google it.

"You didn't grow under my heart, but in it."

Not sure you need to put anything on the quilt other than maybe on the label say something on the order of "home at last" and maybe the date.

This what I was thinking as well.

"Even though you didn't grow in my belly, you grew in my heart".

But I also like the sweet and simple ones like "Our Daughter", or "You are home", or just "We Love You"

I, too, prefer the simple things. 'Our daughter' or 'with love to our daughter'.

How about just "Welcome to our family, with love and wishes"
