    I want to do a QAG reversible quilt. what two patterns would be suitable? thanks

    look at Reversible Quilts by Sharon Pederson. She does lovely ones. mostly hst's but I love them.

    I agree with nativetexan on the book suggestion. Then just pick 2 blocks that finish the same size.

    I have made two reversible quilts. Neither of them are anywhere the same on both sides. I make them quilt them with no backing just batting then put them together. I have posted them on this site.

    One of my friends made one but she used wider diagonal stripes on the back. You need to worry about the bulk of quilting thru multi layers of pieced fabric.

    I would think any kind of blocks, just as long as they're the same size. Agree with above post about bulk to stitch through, the more piecing, the more bulk of seams. Depends on your machine too, I wouldn't do it on my newer machine, but my old Kenmore would stitch through anything.
