    Default Advice Please

I'm making this cross quilted wall hanging for my church ....my question is do you think that there are enough Rays coming from the cross?

Kathyaire made one like this and hers was beautiful, I just knew that I wanted to make one for our church, she did quilt hers on a LAQ and I have to do mine on a regular sewing machine... I used a walking foot and just sewed line in a decorated stitch...do you think there is enough rays coming from the cross.... if I did add more I think just maybe some short lines in between the longer lines..but was hoping that there was enough LOL Thanks for you help..

I would add some short ones between the long ones, will give you more demension, especially on the lower half

I agree - more on the lower half especially would really make it pop!

No opinion on the rays, but that filigree work is awesome. Can you tell us how you made it?

I would print off a picture of this wall hanging and draw extra lines on the picture, then decide if there should be more or not.

If I were you I would have the sun shining on the crossbar area and put more short rays coming from around the round design. All around. That would put the emphasis on the top part more than on the bottom. That's where my eyes go .MiLate is right on the printout.
