Is there anything I can put in the washing machine so the colors do not bleed onto my white fabric. Don't want to use color catchers to catch the dye, looking for something that won't let the colors run, any tips?

Already sewn together???? Not sure - but i've always added white vineagar to the fabric prewash - and whether it works or i'm just lucky - i've never had a quilt "run" when i used the fabrics. I just don't know if that would work in a finished quilt. There is a product i have heard mentioned here --- the name starts with an S.....but i have not used it. Someone who answers will know. GOOD LUCK !!!

Just to clarify Retayne can ONLY be used in the Prewash stage. If your quilt is already put together you don't want to use Retayne as that will set any bleed.
If your quilt is already assembled and you have a bleeder in the quilt use a product called Synthrapol. You will be hard pressed to find it locally, it is not normally carried by LQS and I have never seen it in a big box store (like JoAnn or Walmart). This is the best source for it I have found
