    Default Alaska alive and well

All three cruise stops have quilt shops, a stitch in time -Juneau, rushin tailor -Skagway and whale tails alive and well in Ketchikan, was up for sale, new owner took over in November, visited all three and $ poorer 😀

We also did those three towns when we cruised there. Lots of fun to see the different fabrics in each one and buy some Alaskan prints. Made the trip more interesting. Still thinking about what to do with the fabrics I bought.

My girlfriend wants to take a cruise up there too so I will tell her you found some great ships!

I stopped at those shops when we did the cruise -- got some great Alaska fabric. It was great fun -- and I had the fabric shipped home so I did not have to find room in the suitcases.

Too bad I wasn't a quilter when I did my Alaska cruise back in 2001. Makes we want to do another.

Glad to hear there is a new owner in Ketchikan. When we were there last year, I heard they were looking for one so they didn't have to close it! YAY!

So glad you posted this. We are cruising there in September. This will be our third trip to Alaska. Have been in the Ketchican shop but not the other two. It would be downright rude and unfriendly not to pay a visit!!!
