Did you know that there are fabric warehouses in Dallas? I discovered them years ago and have used them ever since for fabrics for my dolls. And, for some reason, I just thought of them for my quilting stash! They are located on Perth Street in Dallas. Across from the Salvation Army store. (It might be a Goodwill store.) Any how, they are on Perth St just off of Northwest Highway. You can get any kind of fabric for very reasonable prices. These are mostly left-overs from last season. Some are marked "seconds". Check out the fabrics before taking to cutting table. They have upholstery fabrics, silks, satins, velvets, and yes, cotton. Also lots of blends. I love these stores and can't wait to get there. One of the stores is "Fabric Wearhouse".

I heard there is suppose to be a fabric district around there somewhere in the Dallas area too.. I have yet to go.. BUt ive heard it was an awesome district..

I just looked one of them up (my favorite) in the Yellow Pages. This one is ... WhereHouse Fabric Outlet, 2675 Perth St, Dallas, TX 75240 (phone # 672-788-2390). There are 2 or 3 more on same street. Just follow the flow of ladies. I know that they are open Saturday mornings. I think that they have weekday hours too. give them a call if you are interested.

golden d or is on harry hines and they have bargains in the back room. sometimes they don't have anything working buying and other times its great.

i don't leave in dallas, i'm from oklahoma city area.
